Alfie Dean - The Platforms Quartet
Alfie Dean is a virtuosic guitarist inspired by the likes of Charlie Parker, Wes Montgomery, Horace Silver, and Bill Evans. The former ‘Tomorrow’s Warriors’ musician studied at Birmingham Conservatoire with fellow bandmates, Nick Manz on piano (BBC Young Musician of the Year finalist), Ben Love on bass, and local drummer Aidan Amman. This up-and-coming band plays a varied set of Dean’s original works, with unique arrangements of classic jazz tunes.
