John Bewick Quintet “A Hint of Blue (Note)”

John is an alto & tenor sax player who is well known for his jazz playing in small groups & big bands around the Midlands. His fondest memories include his time as lead alto with the Brian Newton Band in their heyday when they won the BBC Big Band competition, played a Stan Kenton evening at Ronnie Scott’s in London and were the support band at a Maynard Ferguson concert in Derby.
